The human body is created by God. It is wonderfully and marvelously made by Him. He has provided bountifully from sources of nature for our care. We should use these blessings to keep ourselves in good health. And God said, ”Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.” (Genesis 1:29). We can live as Daniel did, and follow his diet. Daniel’s diet consist of water, fruits, grains, nuts, and vegetables. Our physical health is maintained by what we eat. The food you put in your body affects all of your tissues and organs. Food should be nourishing to the body, so the body can make good blood. We should eat the right food at regular hours and eat the right amount of food and be temperate in eating. Eat simple and healthy food and eat colorful foods.

The health plan in the Bible indicates that fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains and legumes are the foundation of a healthy diet. It has been suggested by various sources not to eat fruits and vegetables at the same time/ meal. Fruits and vegetables picked fresh from the garden offer more solid nourishment and are the best. Breakfast is most important meal of the day. Watch out for foods heavy with refined sugars, like pastries and sugary cereals. These foods offer calories without many essential nutrients. High sugar foods and drinks may also cause your energy to soar briefly before it falls to lower levels. You may feel more drained and hungry, even if you ate breakfast. Sugar cause fermentation in the stomach. Milk and sugar combined is one of the worst combination. Use little sugar, milk or honey in moderation. God wants us to be healthy so let us stick to the diet He gave us in Genesis 1:29. In fact according to the American Institute for Cancer Research, eating more vegetables and fruits, exercising regularly, and maintaining a healthy weight could cut cancer rates by 30 to 40 percent.
