Oatmeal: heart healthy food

Oats used in any forms can help your heart by lowering LDL, which is the bad cholesterol. A warm bowl of oatmeal will fill you up for many hours. Is is a good source for breakfast hot or cold with some  fruits or raisins added to it. You can also use it to  fight snack attacks, and it helps to keep blood sugar levels stable over time ,  making it a good choice meal for people with diabetes, and cholesterol.

Tip: Swap oats for one-third of the flour in pancakes, muffins, and baked goods. Use oats instead of bread crumbs in cooking.
