Lord, we thank You for you safely brought us to the end of another day. As darkness approaches, help us to let the day go, with its failures and successes. If we have regrets, let us not dwell on them, but accept Your forgiveness and by the power of the Holy Spirit change our sinful lives. Wash us with your precious blood that You shed on Calvary. Fill this night with Your presence and the peace it brings. Protect us from danger seen and unseen and prepare our hearts as we rest in You who neither slumber or sleep in Jesus’ name. Amen.
