God’s Grace & Mercy Towards Us

God’s Grace & Mercy Towards Us

Your Grace And Mercy Song/Hymn: Chorus: Your grace and mercy, brought me through I’m living this moment because of You I want to thank You, and praise You too Your grace and mercy, brought me through 1. Thank You, for saving a sinner like me To tell the world salvation is free There were times when I just didn’t do right But You watched over me All day and night 2. Justice demanded, that I should die But grace and mercy said oh, no, oh, no, oh no, we’ve already paid the price I once was blind, but thank God I can see It was because grace and mercy came along and rescued me 3.Your grace and mercy brought me through I’m living this moment because of You I want to thank You and praise You too Your grace and mercy, brought me through. “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” ((Hebrews 4:16). “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). Grace, often defined as unmerited favor, is offered freely by God towards us. “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24). “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” (Romans 7:12)  “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” (Romans 5:20). “But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith he loved us.” (Ephesians 2:4)  Our salvation is rooted in God’s mercy. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 Thank God!! “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” Titus 3:5 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for His mercy endureth for ever.” Psalm 136:26 “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (1 Corinthians 15:10) “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” (Psalm 23:6 ) KJV My Prayer: Lord help me not to murmur and complain but be thankful in all things...

By His Stripes we are Healed

By His Stripes we are Healed

Surely He hath borne our griefs,.” ..with His stripes we are healed.” “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to His own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth….Isaiah 53:3-7 KJV) Read all of Isaiah...

Walking in Darkness

Walking in Darkness

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”  Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV “Reprove, rebuke, exhort,” the Lord says, “with all long-suffering and doctrine.” 2 Tim. 4:2. Deal faithfully with wrongdoing. Warn every soul that is in danger. Leave none to deceive themselves. Call sin by its right name. Declare what God has said in regard to lying, Sabbath breaking, stealing, idolatry, and every other evil. “ Desire of Ages pp. 805, 806 Ellen  G....

Devotion

Devotion

Matthew 5:48  King James Version (KJV) “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” There are those who listen to the truth, and are convinced that they have been living in opposition to Christ. They are condemned, and they repent of their transgressions. Relying upon the merits of Christ, exercising true faith in Him, they receive pardon for sin. As they cease to do evil and learn to do well, they grow in grace and in the knowledge of God. They see that they must sacrifice in order to separate from the world; and after counting the cost, they look upon all as loss if they may but win Christ. They have enlisted in Christ’s army. The warfare is before them, and they enter it bravely and cheerfully, fighting against their natural inclinations and selfish desires, bringing the will into subjection to the will of Christ. Daily they seek the Lord for grace to obey Him, and they are strengthened and helped. – {BLJ 355.4} This is true conversion. In humble, grateful dependence those who have been given a new heart rely upon the help of Christ. They reveal in their life the fruit of righteousness. They once loved themselves. Worldly pleasure was their delight. Now their idol is dethroned, and God reigns supreme.-Youth’s Instructor, Sept. 26, 1901. – {Be Like Jesus p. 355.5} Ellen G. Laughter is Good Medicine

God wants us to have some fun, ‘laughter is good medicine’. I think we all need to have a  healthy dose of laughter everyday. You really cannot get overdosed on joy! Today look for something to smile or laugh about with someone else, and brighten their day as well as yours. ”A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22 KJV) Have a great day indeed. Smile and take the load off!  ...

Suffering

Suffering

Verses from the Bible But as for you, you meant evil against me;  but    God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as  it    is  this day, to save many people alive. (Genesis 50:20 NKJV) But she said to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.  I went out full,  and the  Lord  has brought me home again empty. Why do you call me Naomi, since the  Lord  has testified against me, and the Almighty has afflicted me?” (Ruth 1:20, 21 NKJV) But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks.  Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?”  In all this Job did not  sin with his lips. (Job 2:10 NKJV) The  Lord  also will be a  refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. (Psalms 9:9 NKJV) The  Lord    is  near  to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many  are  the afflictions of the righteous, But the  Lord  delivers him out of them all. (Psalms 34:18, 19 NKJV) God  is  our  refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1...
