“This is the day that the LORD has made” (Psalms 118:24). Lord we thank You for giving us this day. We bring You our praise for giving us life and waking us this morning. Some of us might not be cheerful this morning but You tell us, ”These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. ” (John 16:33) Lord help us to be cheerful, as we face the day in a world that is sometimes so gloomy. Let us be a blessing to others and let Your love flows in us and through us.Enable us to accomplish the tasks you set before us today, at work , home or school. Guide our footsteps and the words we say, Cleanse us and forgive our sins. May this day be only about You; dedicated to Your honor and glory. Thank You Lord for Your blessings and for loving us. Have mercy on us, Lord Jesus our Saviour and King. Amen.
