Suffering

Verses from the Biblebible 1

But as for you, you meant evil against me;  but    God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as  it    is  this day, to save many people alive. (Genesis 50:20 NKJV)

But she said to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.  I went out full,  and the  Lord  has brought me home again empty. Why do you call me Naomi, since the  Lord  has testified against me, and the Almighty has afflicted me?” (Ruth 1:20, 21 NKJV)

But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks.  Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?”  In all this Job did not  sin with his lips. (Job 2:10 NKJV)

The  Lord  also will be a  refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. (Psalms 9:9 NKJV)

The  Lord    is  near  to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many  are  the afflictions of the righteous, But the  Lord  delivers him out of them all. (Psalms 34:18, 19 NKJV)

God  is  our  refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 NKJV)
